On the Frontline: Closing the Care Gap

This event was held to express gratitude for the care and assistance received from the Ministry of Health, Wellness, and Social Services and the then Princess Margaret Hospital staff.

This event will also seek to provide aid to ensure that children admitted to the Winston ward are granted the opportunity to not only receive care and attention from dedicated staff but also have access to items so that they can engage in creative and educational aspects that can contribute to their holistic and mental well-being.

With two surprise elements, this event will also allow the Dominica Cancer Society and past nurses of the Winston Ward to serve as the award recipients.
