Resonating Effect

As you plummet into the version of yourself you have always envisioned, you would need to create that “resonating effect.”

When individuals mention your name, they should be able to connect you to at least one thing you are passionate about.

Hence it is of utmost importance to Own It and Speak On IT!

Can you count how many times you had to get comfortable with being uncomfortable in the classroom, at a board meeting, at an open forum, or at work because you were too scared to provide feedback on your stance, given that others had differing views?

On our journey, you may believe that the better thing to do is to stay quiet and leave the world as it is as we are too afraid of being challenged or are very much concerned about the consequences.

In many events, you may cave in as you believe you should be a listener and note-taker.

Well, you better wake up, as you cannot continue to emasculate yourself serving as YES Man in someone else’s shadow.

Silence serves no one.

Occasionally it is ok to disrupt what is happening respectfully.

Staying quiet is being comfortable.

Be that voice….

And if need be, be that fixer-upper….

But do so only if

  1. You are passionate about “it”’
  2. You are willing to go the long haul;
  3. You can defend “it”;
  4. And you can communicate in a tone that is not offensive.

As you step foot into the world, you would NEED to create a resonating effect.
